What is an OTC desk?
OTC (Over-The-Counter) trading within the digital assets space is a private deal between a buyer and a seller.
It is the process of negotiation between a person who has available digital assets to sell at the desired price, and a person who wants to purchase said digital asset at a given price, for example swapping USDC to XSGD.
An OTC transaction is made when an agreement on the trading price is agreed upon.
The StraitsX OTC solution provides deeper liquidity and a private, more personalised service to institutions and high-net-worth individuals that need to fill large orders.
What is the operating hours of the StraitsX OTC Desk?
The StraitsX OTC Desk operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm SGT. This excludes public holidays.
What payment methods are accepted?
Users can top up their StraitsX Personal or Business Account with Singapore Dollars (SGD) or US Dollars via bank transfer, or send accepted digital assets to our provided blockchain address.
Detailed instructions will be provided over email upon request submission, based on the requested trading pair.
What is the minimum amount per OTC trade?

What is the settlement time for an OTC trade?
For requests submitted before 2pm SGT on business days, the settlement will be completed on the same day.
For requests submitted after 2pm SGT, the settlement will be completed on the following business day.
