From Launch to Scale: RedotPay’s Wallet-ready Card Program

Discover how StraitsX supported RedotPay with Visa BIN sponsorship, Apple Pay enablement, USD funding via DVA, and XUSD-backed settlement to scale its wallet-ready card program.

Challenge

Helping to launch a global card program with integrated infrastructure

RedotPay is a fintech platform enabling users to access and spend digital assets via card-based payments. As RedotPay built out its card program for a global user base, there was a need to support additional mobile wallet usage and meet other scheme requirements from day one.

StraitsX assisted RedotPay in:

  • Simplifying issuing and network requirements
  • Bolstering capabilities to support mobile wallet provisioning and wallet-based payments
  • Adding USD funding rails while keeping operational simplicity

StraitsX Approach

A single stack for issuance, tokenisation, and settlement

StraitsX worked with RedotPay to bring together card issuance, mobile wallet enablement, and fiat connectivity into a single, integrated setup. This ensured that infrastructure across funding, issuance, and spend didn’t introduce additional vendor complexity.

Card Issuance (Visa BIN Sponsorship)
RedotPay launched part of its card program under a Visa BIN sponsorship model, covering core issuing capabilities, processing flows, and operational readiness.

Apple Pay Certification & Tokenisation
StraitsX and RedotPay collaborated to add a capability for Apple Pay onboarding, including certification requirements and provisioning flows. This enabled a seamless user experience across supported devices while meeting compliance requirements.

USD Access via DVA
Leveraging StraitsX, RedotPay provisioned Dedicated Virtual Accounts (DVAs) to support fiat funding via SWIFT. This simplified how funds are received and reconciled, while maintaining clarity and control at the account level.

Stablecoin-Backed Settlement (XUSD)
Behind the scenes, transactions were supported by 1:1 USD to XUSD settlement. This helped streamline treasury movement and internal reconciliation, reducing friction between fiat inflows and on-chain or card-based spend.

Results and Benefits

RedotPay was able to bring a wallet-ready card program to market, allowing users to provision cards into Apple Pay and start transacting immediately. This reduced friction at the point of use and aligned the experience with how users already interact with payments across mobile devices.

This created a more predictable path to scale, making it easier to expand across new markets and user segments without revisiting core infrastructure.

Overall, this enhanced RedotPay’s existing capabilities to scale its card program with greater speed and confidence, supported by infrastructure that is already aligned for wallet-based payments and cross-border usage.

Partner Perspective

StraitsX provided the infrastructure and expertise as we brought our card program to market with confidence. The process was streamlined and aligned with our growth ambitions.

Future Outlook

Extending a wallet-native card program across markets

RedotPay is well positioned to expand into new markets and user segments.

As adoption grows, the focus shifts toward deepening user engagement through more seamless, wallet-native experiences across devices and payment contexts. This includes expanding how users fund, provision, and use their cards across both digital and physical environments.

StraitsX continues to support RedotPay as it scales its program while maintaining consistency in user experience and operational control.

This partnership reflects a broader shift toward integrated, wallet-first financial products, where infrastructure is designed to support scale from the outset rather than retrofitted over time.

Scale faster with stablecoin infrastructure that works.
