Step by Step Guide to get XSGD

Transfer In via Bank Transfer

Processing time: 2–5 business days

Minimum transfer amount: 10 SGD

Fees: None

Supported banks: Singapore and overseas bank accounts

1. Log in to your StraitsX account and select your preferred currency under the Transfer In dropdown.

2. Select Bank Transfer as the transfer method.

3. Make a FAST transfer from your bank’s mobile app or website

4. Review the transfer details click I’ve Transferred after you have completed the bank transfer.

5. Your balance will be updated within 2–5 business days. You will receive an email once your SGD funds are credited and converted at a 1:1 rate with no fees applied.

Transfer Out via Bank Transfer

Processing time: 2–5 business days

Minimum withdrawal amount: 10 SGD

Fees: Free for personal accounts, capped at S$1 for business accounts

Supported banks: Singapore and overseas bank accounts

1. Log in to your StraitsX account and select your preferred currency under the Transfer Out dropdown.

2. Select Bank Transfer as the transfer method.

3. Choose a bank account to receive your funds.

4. If you haven't added a bank account yet, follow this guide to link your bank account.
5. Enter your withdrawal amount.

6. Check the transfer details and click Proceed to Transfer.

7. Review the recipient and transfer details again then click Confirm.

8. Enter your 6-digit code by your 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) App.

9. You will receive an email once your funds are credited to your bank account. 

Note: Withdrawals to non-financial institutions such as Wise, GrabPay, Razer, LiquidPay, Matchmove, and Singtel Dash are currently not supported. Contact our support team if you need help verifying supported bank accounts.

Transfer In via Blockchain Transfer

Processing time: 24 hours

Minimum transfer amount: 1 XSGD

Fees: 0.5 XSGD (waived for < 10 XSGD)

Supported blockchain networks: Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Hedera, Ripple

1. Log in to your StraitsX account and select your preferred currency under the Transfer In dropdown.

2. Select Blockchain Transfer as the transfer method.

3. Select Blockchain Wallet and Network.

4. Send funds to the blockchain address below.

5. After you’ve completed the transfer, select I’ve Transferred.

6. You will receive an email once your funds have been credited and converted to the stablecoin of choice at a 1:1 rate, with network transaction fees applied.

Transfer Out via Blockchain Transfer

Processing time: 24 hours

Minimum withdrawal amount: 10 XSGD

Fees: Capped at 30 XSGD (Ethereum) and 1 XSGD (All other chains)

Supported blockchain networks: Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Hedera, Ripple, Zilliqa, Solana (coming soon)

1. Log in to your StraitsX account and select your preferred currency under the Transfer Out dropdown.

2. Select Blockchain Transfer as the transfer method.

3. Choose a blockchain wallet to receive your funds.

4. If you haven't added a blockchain wallet to your account yet, follow this guide to whitelist your personal wallet address.
5. Pick your Network. (Note: Ensure the network supports your specific asset).

6. Enter your withdrawal amount.

7. Check the transfer details and click Proceed to Transfer.

8. Confirm the recipient and transfer details then click Proceed again to confirm.

9. Enter your 6-digit code from your 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) App.

10. You will receive an email once your funds are credited to your blockchain account (network transaction fees apply).

Bonus:  Swap XSGD to stablecoin of choice

After you have XSGD in your dashboard, you can swap it for other supported stablecoins such as XUSD, USDC or USDT. Here’s how you do it:

• Go to the Swap tab in your dashboard.
• Select XSGD as the currency to swap from.
• Select the stablecoin you want to receive, for example XUSD.
• Enter the amount of XSGD you want to swap, for example 10 XSGD.
• Review the details and confirm the swap.

Swap back or use stablecoins

You can also swap back to XSGD should you prefer to off-ramp in SGD. For example, if you want to swap your USDC back to XSGD:

• Go to Swap
• Select USDC to swap from
• Select XSGD to receive
• Enter the amount of USDC and confirm
